Skip to the content- License Agreement is with HomeTaxTracker.com (“HTT”) an affiliated company of HomeTaxSavings.com and wholly owned by Assessment Solutions, LLC
- Upon acceptance, HTT will for the license term:
- Annually track and report on the appropriateness of the real estate tax assessment for the subject property. HTT will notify homeowner annually of all new, proposed property assessments along with the corresponding appeal deadline.
- HTT is a subscription- based, assessment tool to be used in connection with a local real estate assessment/tax appeal. It is not a market value appraisal and cannot be used for financing or other purposes beyond which it is intended. As an assessment tool it empowers the owner with highly relevant comparable sales data along with important dates of value.
- Analyze appropriate market data, apply our proprietary assessment algorithms and make an annual recommendation to you whether a tax appeal is warranted.
- If an appeal is indicated during the term of your license subscription, HTT will provide – at no additional charge- all documentation relevant for the appeal of current real estate taxes, if warranted.
- The appeal documentation will include:
- Comparable property analysis
- Conclusion of assessment value
- Recommended action, if warranted
- Completed appeal forms for your local jurisdiction
- For each License year, HTT will contact the licensee with a specific action recommendation.
- At the end of the license cycle, the licensee will have the opportunity to renew the annual tax service (HTT) at 90% of the then current retail price.
- The licensor/licensee agreement is between HTT and licensee without recourse to the Strategic Partner.
- HTT’s limit of liability is the cost of the license fee
- Licensee will:
- Select term and pay applicable license fee
- If the license agreement is not accepted the fee will not be charged.
- The licensee is responsible for providing accurate and reliable information to HTT for purposes of this engagement
- If an assessment appeal document is prepared for the licensee, the submission and follow-up with the local jurisdiction regarding that appeal is the licensee’s responsibility.
